Pretty uneventful day.  We are leaving for San Diego tonight at 8:00 pm for our two appointments tomorrow so some packing and prep for that.  Since regular life continues to go on… we had a check in day with our daughter’s school.  It was a “bring some lunch”, “meet up with the other parents” and “familiarize yourself with the classroom”.  This goes on every year so it’s not anything new.  We did end up discussing my predicament with some of the other parents… and it does amaze both Monica and I how supportive our circle of people really are.  Everyone is just amazing… and I can’t go on enough about how awesome it is to have them all on our side.  

Looking forward to hearing what the doctors say tomorrow and hoping to get some direction, even if it’s just the start of a plan.  Still no word from OHSU… lol.  I suppose it’s not funny… and I understand that this is a big deal and they probably don’t want to rush an appointment…  But I sure would like to hear back, even if it’s just an appointment.  No word back from MD Anderson yet either.  They aren’t in our “back yard” so it’s a bit different.  We’ll have to figure out flights and hotels for that one.
